FOTON Brazil Unveils New Strategy: Product Upgrades Mark New Chapter in Localization.


As a solid step for FOTON's Brazilian strategy to enter a brand new stage, FOTON formally launched a new commercial vehicle product line, dealer network and service strategy to the Brazilian market, and opened a new chapter for its development in Brazil.




From June 17th to 19th, the FOTON's Brazilian Conference 2024 with the theme of 'Together Win Future' was held in São Paulo, Brazil. As a solid step for FOTON's Brazilian strategy to enter a brand new stage, FOTON formally launched a new commercial vehicle product line, dealer network and service strategy to the Brazilian market, and opened a new chapter for its development in Brazil with the new technology and new design language of the pickup truck culture, which demonstrated FOTON's firm commitment to innovation and expansion of product portfolio.


During the event, FOTON Brazil full value chain development strategy was released. As an important part of the 'NEW FOTON, NEW VALUE' lean operation in Brazil, FOTON Brazil's 'NEW QUALITY PRODUCT FORCES' strategy was officially launched, with four new models of medium truck, light truck, mini truck and pickup truck. The products have been rigorously tested and not only meet the Euro VI emission standard, but also equipped with advanced safety and performance technologies at competitive prices, which will meet the diversified transportation needs of the Brazilian market.



The light truck fully upgraded to AUMARK S 315 models, which is based on FOTON's newly developed 'Multi-Energy Sharing Platform' technology, which can meet the future demand for fuel, hybrid, pure electric, hydrogen fuel and other multi-technology routes. The vehicle with modularization, integration and carbon reduction features, and has achieved a comprehensive evolution in terms of reliability, high efficiency and safety. 


It is worth mentioning that both versions of AUMARK S 315 light trucks adopt ZF transmissions. Among them, the AUMARK S 315AMT product adopts advanced automatic transmission technology, which provides users with smooth shifting experience, which can reduce driving fatigue and improve driving comfort.



TUNLAND V series, a full-size pickup truck equipped with FOTON's latest diesel hybrid technology was released, which not only has a luxury sedan-grade double-wishbone multilink configuration, but also features a luxurious interior and power quietness. The series includes two personalized exterior language designs, V7 and V9, which will inject new genes into the local pickup truck culture and open up a new way of life for customers.


In addition, FOTON's new mini truck WONDER and new medium truck model AUMAN D were unveiled, which represent FOTON's product line in Brazil will comprehensively cover the 'Last Mile' and other short and medium-distance urban logistics market. It will not only enhance FOTON's product competitiveness in Brazil, but also represents FOTON's insight and forward-looking layout of the future market.




In terms of operational strategy, FOTON has clear and ambitious plans. In addition to the currently launched product lines, FOTON also plans to introduce heavy-duty and super-heavy-duty trucks as well as more electric and hybrid commercial vehicles to the Brazilian market. The company will also strengthen its dealer network in Brazil, with plans to expand the number of dealers to 50 by the end of 2024 and build a network of more than 100 dealers in the next five years.
